10TEN JHL MK110 14/12 Pit Bike
The 10TEN JHL MK110 14/12 takes the easy-to-use semi-automatic setup of the smaller 110 and puts it into a noticeably bigger chassis. With 14/12 wheels, a 750mm seat height, inverted front suspension and a four-speed semi-automatic gearbox, it's designed as the next step for riders who want a larger bike without moving straight to a manual clutch.
Power comes from the HS110 four-stroke engine, producing a claimed maximum of 7 hp. A four-speed semi-automatic transmission means the rider selects gears using the foot-operated gear lever but doesn't need to operate a manual clutch, making the MK110 a useful introduction to gear selection on a larger pit bike.
Both electric and kick start come as standard, while a PZ19 carburettor handles fuelling. The bike also gets a compact 3.5-litre fuel tank with CNC vent valve and a 5Ah gel battery.
Bigger 14/12 Chassis
The MK110 runs a 14-inch front and 12-inch rear wheel combination, giving it a significant increase in size over the smaller 10/10 and 12/10 machines.
A 750mm seat height and 1130mm wheelbase give the rider more room while still keeping the overall package compact and manageable. The larger wheels also help the bike deal with bumps and uneven ground more comfortably than the smaller-wheel models.
The wheels use tough black steel rims with silver aluminium hubs, fitted with Yuangxing 60/100-14 front and 80/100-12 rear tyres.
Upgraded Suspension
The MK110 also takes a step forward in suspension specification.
Up front are 43/45mm inverted forks measuring 680mm, giving the bike a more substantial front-end setup than the conventional telescopic suspension used on the smaller SK models.
At the rear, the suspension incorporates CNC components, working with a steel swingarm to complete the larger chassis setup.
Straightforward Semi-Automatic Performance
Front and rear hydraulic disc brakes provide the stopping power, while stainless steel footpegs give the rider a secure platform when riding seated or standing.
A steel engine bottom protector provides additional protection underneath the engine, while polished folding control levers add a useful touch to the cockpit.
Drive is handled by a 428H Choho chain, running a 15-tooth steel front and 41-tooth steel rear sprocket.
An hourmeter is also fitted as standard, making it easy to keep track of engine running time and routine servicing.
Finished with a black frame, black steel handlebars, stainless steel and aluminium exhaust, and 10TEN + JHLOFR graphics, the MK110 combines the simplicity of a semi-automatic 110 with the extra space, larger wheels and upgraded suspension of a bigger pit-bike chassis.
