The 10TEN MXE-PRO takes the compact electric dirt bike platform and gives it some serious performance.
Powered by a 60V electric drive system with a direct-drive motor producing up to 4,000W peak power, the MXE-PRO combines instant electric response with proper off-road bike proportions. With 14-inch front and 12-inch rear wheels, inverted front suspension and hydraulic rear braking, it's built as much more than a basic electric balance bike.
Three selectable speed settings of 25, 45 and 75km/h allow the performance to be tailored to the rider and conditions. At its maximum setting, the MXE-PRO is capable of a claimed 75km/h (46.6mph), while the lower settings provide a useful way of keeping the performance more manageable when full power isn't required.
At the heart of the bike is a 60V 20Ah battery using 21700 cells, feeding a 2,000W rated motor with 4,000W peak output. The motor itself produces up to 35.7Nm, with the gearing delivering a quoted 194Nm peak torque at the vehicle.
The result is the kind of immediate torque delivery that makes electric off-road bikes so much fun – no clutch, no gears and no waiting for an engine to build revs.
60V Power with Three Speed Settings
Rather than simply chasing a headline power figure, the MXE-PRO gives the rider three usable speed settings:
- 25km/h
- 45km/h
- 75km/h
That gives the bike a much broader range of performance than a single unrestricted setting.
The 120 direct-drive motor uses a 1:1 motor reduction with an 11:60 final sprocket combination, driving the rear wheel through a heavy-duty 420H chain.
With no conventional gearbox or clutch to operate, power delivery is simple and direct – twist the throttle and go.
60V 20Ah Battery
Supplying the motor is a 60V 20Ah lithium battery using 21700 cells, giving the MXE-PRO a manufacturer-stated range of approximately 25–50km per charge.
Actual range will naturally depend on rider weight, terrain, speed setting, riding style and conditions.
A 67.2V 3A charger is supplied, with a quoted charging time of approximately 7 hours.
Proper Dirt Bike Chassis
The MXE-PRO is built around a steel double square-tube main frame rather than trying to disguise a lightweight balance-bike chassis underneath dirt bike bodywork.
It's paired with a steel rear swingarm, inverted front forks and a rear damping shock absorber.
With 270mm of ground clearance, there's useful clearance underneath the bike for uneven ground, while the 1,030mm wheelbase keeps the overall package compact.
The MXE-PRO weighs 55.2kg and has a maximum stated load capacity of 75kg.
14/12 Off-Road Wheel Setup
The MXE-PRO runs a classic staggered off-road wheel combination with a larger front wheel helping the bike deal with bumps and uneven surfaces.
Up front is a 14 x 1.4 steel wheel fitted with a 60/100-14 tyre, while the rear uses a wider 12 x 1.6 wheel with an 80/100-12 tyre.
Combined with the 750mm seat height, this gives the MXE-PRO compact dirt bike proportions without moving into full-size motocross bike territory.
Disc Braking Front and Rear
Both brakes are hand operated, keeping the controls straightforward.
